Description

The howitzer is a type of artillery piece of a caliber length less than the barrel (15 to 25 caliber) and superior to the mortar. It uses a comparatively small driving load, which allows firing projectiles with curved draft, that is, with high shooting angles, even greater than 45º, with a pronounced angle of fall, to reach targets that are behind natural or artificial terrain obstacles.
